We are very proud to distribute the 2009-10 Annual Report of the Office of Continuing Education and Professional Development (CEPD), Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. This report follows up on a busy year of scholarship and research in continuing education, new innovations, more efficient practices, the delivery of quality continuing education for healthcare professionals.
In moving forward with CEPD strategic directions, we have reviewed our activities and identified how we are supporting the overall strategic directions of the Faculty of Medicine, as well as identifying the implementation of our own 2006-11 academic strategic plan “From Knowledge to Action: Bridging the Quality Gap”.
It is the contribution of the many course directors, continuing education departmental directors and administrators, the staff of the Office of CEPD and continuing education and knowledge translation scholars and researchers who have made an impact on the quality of the course and conference activities and the discovery of new knowledge and practices in the field. Together we make one highly committed continuing education and professional development community.
